This Cookie Policy applies to Tiley (hereafter "we", "us", "our", the "App"), and explains what cookies are, how we and third-party advertisers use cookies on the App, your choices regarding cookies and further information about cookies.


What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when using the App. Cookies are used to store information about you, your preferences and/or your device. The information does not usually identify you directly, but it can give you a more personalised experience. For instance, a cookie remembers your game progress when you close the App and return afterwards. 

Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your mobile device when you close the App, while session cookies are deleted as soon as you close the App.


Types of cookies that we use

Strictly necessary cookies: these cookies are essential to enable you to use our App. Without these cookies, the App cannot function. These cookies cannot be switched off. They include:
- Storage of your current game state so you can return and resume gameplay at any time.
- Language of the App, which is determined upon start-up of the App, based on the language of your host operating system.
- Information on whether you have access to exclusive features ("remove ads" feature).
- Game preferences (colors of the tiles, sound volume, etc.).


Types of third-party cookies that may be used

Some of our advertising partners may use cookies and web beacons on our App to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and/or to personalise the advertising content that you see. Our advertising partners include AdMob, provided by Google, Inc.


Third-party cookies may be used on the App for the following purposes:

This may include serving and rendering ads, personalising ads (depending on your consent), limiting the number of times an ad is shown to a user, muting ads you have chosen to stop seeing, and measuring the effectiveness of ads.

Open app Settings
Select Privacy Preferences
Click on “Withdraw Consent to All", and then click Confirm Choices (Android) or Save & Exit (iOS)

On your next visit, you will be asked for consent again and you may choose to accept or reject cookies.
